Fans of the Spice Girls were thrilled when the group announced the reunion tour last year, but after the kick-off of that tour there was mainly disappointment. The Spice Girls kicked off their tour at the Croke Park stadium in Dublin, where the sound was “terrible” according to several fans.
“Something is wrong if the crowd sits down at the Spice Girls concert because no one knows which song is being sung because the sound is so bad”, a fan on Twitter writes. “It would be nice if someone told the sound engineers that the public cannot hear them “, another complains.
According to the Daily Mail, even out of dissatisfaction, visitors would have left the stadium, while they had paid around £ 100 for a ticket.
NEXT TIME BETTER QUALITY
The Spice Girls themselves don’t stop: Mel B. reacted to the disappointed fans on Saturday morning on Instagram Stories. She admits that there are sound problems and says she hopes that the next concert will be of better quality. “We’ll see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much better.”
The performance of the British girl group was the first since 2012. Then the Spice Girls – complete with Victoria Beckham – performed during the London Olympics. Victoria Beckham is not present during this reunion tour. Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Mel B. and Mel C. visit a total of thirteen cities in Ireland, Wales, England and Scotland. They close their tour in London on June 15.
