The great Stamatis Kokotas was one of the many singers who gave this concert with Mikis Theodorakis’ songs at Kallimarmaro which brought the message of the great composer to all the Greeks for unity.

The everlasting performer, who returned to recordings after several years of silence, attributed the famous “Lay your mattress for two” in the lyrics of Iakovos Kambanellis.
Kokotas in the 60s at the beginning of his career had a special passage from France where he managed to distinguish himself as a singer.

So he closed the famous song by interpreting it in French. One can not be impressed by the indelible tint and the “centering” of the original artist …
